My Tips For Applying Makeup To Oily Skin

If you're prone to oily skin, have no fear! I have a few tips that'll let your skin know you're the boss, once and for all.

PRIME YOUR SKIN FIRST
A good primer is really important for oily skin. Even if you don't want to use primer on your whole face, try and use a little on the oiliest areas.

MILK OF MAGNESIA
Milk of magnesia is amazing in treating oily skin. You can apply this, let it dry, and then use your foundation and it will make your skin look amazing! It cancels out oiliness and it's in every pharmacy ever!

USE AN EYESHADOW PRIMER FOR YOUR EYELIDS
An eyeshadow primer designed for your eyelids will prevent your eyeshadow creasing and absorb those oils that cause the pesky creases.

USE A GENTLE CLEANSER
A gentle cleanser is the perfect thing for oily skin. Too much toner can cause skin to be dry, so it's better if you use a light cleanser just to prepare your skin without damage.

                                                                  EXFOLIATE
Exfoliation at least once a week is especially important for oily skin. It doesn't have to be a super expensive exfoliator-you could even use a lemon dipped in some sugar, scrub it all over your face, and then rinse off.

                                                       CHOOSING FOUNDATION
When choosing foundation, stay away from oil based. Powder and gel based are your friends! Think Stila oil free foundation and Bare Minerals.

Do any of you guys have tips I could add to the list? Let me know!
Thanks for reading!
